Orbit FR

Trafalgar Orbit FR is a strong, lightweight, non-combustible building board designed for use in many fire resistant and general purpose applications. Orbit FR Ceilings is a fully tested system that complies with the requirements of ASI 530.4 in accordance with the National Construction Code and can be built to infinite length and width. Orbit FR is off-white in colour and has a smooth sanded surface on one face with a lightly textured reverse side. It is reinforced calcium silicate board and it contains no asbestos. For simplicity of installation, Orbit Ceiling Systems are installed in the same manner as a traditional plasterboard ceiling using industry standard framing and suspension systems. The advanced performance of the Orbit Board means that a board only installation can achieve up to -/240/-, and with 2 layers of 50mm Rockwool can achieve an FRL of 240/240.
